So I always wonder...do these things become widespread just because of porn? I understand fetishes have existed since the dawn of time, but would women specifically have focused on chocking before it became a porn trope?
Personally it creeps me out. There are so many animals out there that basically just rape each other, and I prefer NOT to feel like a vicious beast that simultaneously hates the thing I desire. But that's just me.
