Is it normal to hug my guitar when i'm upset?

Sometimes, when I'm alone and really depressed, I just sit on my bed and hug my light brown customised acoustic guitar.
I think I actually spend more time hugging and cleaning my guitar than I actually do playing it.
Is this normal?
