I'm contemplating hooking up with an ex for a one night stand. Is it normal to feel the urge to do this when there are plenty of people out there with whom I don't share a history with?
it is indeed normal. i have slept with an x many times before.
anyways you need to make sure that you are both on the same page though because he may as well still be in love with you(depending on the situation on how the relationship between you two ended-everyone is different so i cannot foretell what will happen in your situation)
but you should make sure that you communicate to him just to make sure that he would be alright with it and have no hard feelings for you that is only if that is what you want from him.

i find it disgusting to sleep with a random guy. i refuse to hook up with someone. anyone i hook up with i have an established relationship with that person. and we only call each other when we want to hook up.
Not only is it normal, it is common. There is no better sex than hate-fucking the person you once loved. It's like group therapy that wreaks of booze and poontang.
My ex gf rings me all the time for a quick fling! I aint going to turn her down. same goes for her if I ring her asking for sex she will say yes!its that simple,at the end of the day you did go out with her!
