I hear voices too. They used to tell me not to turn the big light on because there were devices in there that would control my mind.
Pretty much you have to challenge voices or they will run your life. Tell them to fuck off, tell them you're not going to listen to their shit, tell them you're not going to touch the TV and just go straight to bed. If it's too much put some earphones in, voices can't get you when you've got your favourite music on full.
