ii sometimes hear things. like ill think there will be somone calling my name or talkin to me but there wont be. like yesterday ni was sittin on my bd and i heard some say what you doin? and im like what?!?! cuz there wasnt anyone in my room..
I used to work in a restaurant and sometimes I would hear someone whisper my name and I'd turn around and no one was there.... I dont thinks its "normal" tho
It happens to me every night basically. Try to mentally ask them stuff about your life. You'll get answers and it may continue where you get to ask someone all the questions you want in a lucid dream state. Trust me, it leads to amazing insights that come from your own mind. Also, this is permanent and will never go away so get used to it. I have the same thing and I know that it will never go away so I just got used to it. Don't let it give you the "heebs" as someone said because since its not going away, letting it freak you out is not going to be good for your state of mind
I've honestly been hearing voices since I was a child. None of my doctors know and my family has always tried to make excuses for it. Now, I try to keep it to myself...
"Voices" are classified as Auditory Hallucinations. A variety of things can bring them on like Schizophrenia to drug abuse.... How long have you been hearing them?
drug abuse? like what kind? and fur like a year or so.. but uh i also will like be someone else sometimes... like my friends say i say that my name is magen and im 11 and that i was born in canada... which none of those are true...lol.. but i dont know that im doing that. my friends say il like go into that mode sometimes when they talk about my past or somethin like that lol... but yeaah...

The other personality reminds me of multiple personality disorder, but I don't think hallucinations are apart of it... I would still consider the possibility of Schizophrenia. You could try to get an evaluation with a doctor to make sure.
The other day I was taking a shower and my bf always tries to scare me by putting his face up to the shower curtain and making a growling sound. I heard it and I had my eyes closed so I laughed and told him to stop, then I realized he took the dog out so I called him and asked him if he was in the bathroom and he said no.
Another time I was going to bed but couldn't sleep and the tv was on. I heard whistling and thought it was the music in the background of a commercial but I kept hearing it. The same melody kept playing and I even whistled back to it! :P
If I don't get enough sleep I'll hear things.
Happens to me often, although I'm sure it must of been other sounds that just sounded like someone talking to me, it could be the same case for you.
