Is it normal to hear music playing in your head all the time?

I could be in a silent room all alone and music is still echoing in my head. While I'm taking a test music is playing. While I'm reading. While I'm brushing my teeth. As soon as I wake up and until I fall asleep. My Music is ALWAYS playing. And I never forget any of the lyrics or the Rhythm, just as the song would have played on my ipod it plays in my head. Normal or not?

    Yes! I hate it when I hear music I don't like stuck in my head, too. But yeah, most of the time there is music in my head.

    As long as you know the music's in your head, then yeah it's normal. my brain does the same thing.

    I'm like this since I was a kid. I got used to it, I guess brain needs to keep itself active.
