Is it normal to hear beeping?

In my left ear every so often I hear a beeping noise. Like almost how a tamagotchi sounds. But it's only in my left ear and it varies in volume each time. The beeps are the same sequence every time, it happens randomly and I've looked to see if I could find a source for the noise (you know like a mechanical item that might be beeping or something) but to no avail. I can tell it's coming from my head. plugging my ear doesn't change the volume either.

Is It Normal?

  • You're likely hearing static from something that's on. I used to suffer though uni papers cause my laptop makes and almost inaudible shrill noise. Unplug stuff you're not using, may help.
