Is it normal to have violent thoughts when holding a knife?

Sometimes when I hold a knife, I can't help but have "sinister" thoughts racing in my head. It's so weird, but at the same time kinda exciting.

As I cut whatever I'm cutting, I like to pretend that I'm cutting/stabbing someone. It just...makes me feel so stimulated, for the lack of a better word. My favorite image is stabbing someone in the eyes with 2 knives and see blood squirting out uncontrollably--only to gouge out their eyeballs, with blood still flowing out of their eye sockets continuously.

Do I have suppressed serial killer tendencies? Like...I'm not gonna lie, I have a feeling I will do something REALLY crazy if I'm fueled with extreme anger.

Is It Normal?

    I think it's normal because I can honestly say I have similar thoughts. I have sick thoughts when I hold my swords or small daggers. For example, I can imagine gouging an enemies' eye, without severing the nerve so while I carve his heart out of his chest, I can let him watch himself die. I know it sounds fucked up but it keeps me calm in situations where I feel threatened or intimidated. This will probably get some weirded out and angry responses, but I can't help it.

    You know, that's really messed up. You should probably take that knife and stick in in your own throat before you kill someone else.

    A lot of people have so called invasive thoughts. If you're actually a future serial killer then I hope you get caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
