Its fairly common. Most women have a bigger boob and from what ive heard its usually the right one. I wonder if it has anything to do with most people being right handed and the muscles underneath being larger..? Anyway...
Your mom shouldn't tease you about something that makes you self conscious. That's quite rude and inconsiderate of her. Aside from that, I wouldn't worry so much. You notice more that anyone else will.
