I'm a young woman,married and have been out of school for over a year. I've never been good at making friends and so have very few friends. I've actually found it's easier for me to feel comfortable around people I meet online like on online games. Is that normal or do I have social issues?
I get the same way, so I just avoid people and completely lost interest in making friends.
normal. I have few friends and i still feel akward around them. Im not sure if they feel akward around me though. They probably do.
My problem is that am really really friendly. I think is normal, maybe you just like to be quiet, but if you're trying to make real friends everything starts with a smile :D
I feel the same, when im introduced to new people i shy away and cannot think of anything interesting to say. Inside im screaming please befriend me so i can act normal.
You're completely normal. We both are exactly the same.
I have found that forcing yourself initially to get over the initial awkward phases of friendship and then moving on to becoming "closer" helps. Online games are a way to show a selected side of your personality. When you force yourself to talk, it is the same, but a bit hyper and IRL. You put your best foot forward.
I admire online correspondences, but it is the people IRL who are ready to be with you physically, which is all an internet geek like me desires.

I'm the same way I'm extremely shy but people say I'm funny when they get to know me but some people say I'm stand-offish because I have what they say a death stare but I can't help that my eyes always look mad but they say I look better if I smiled but I'm not going to walk around smiling for no reason that just weird but whatever I don't care what people think
I don't know if it's normal either but I'm the same way. I don't even know why the friends I have like me. I'm totally myself with my husband and sister but with EVERYONE else, I'm fake and awkwarddd. It totally showsss. :/
i think we spent more time with our computer and it is very easy to say what we want to say on internet. but really need a some friends. make me your friend if you like
Wow sound sso much like me yeah it is normal all people are different. Some are outgoing and make friends easy others a shy and have a hard time.
