Is it normal to have too much ear wax

my ears have been full of that stuff for almost a year now, they said it should have cleared up by itself within 6 weeks but no. ear drops havent really worked either

    Reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes comic strip where Calvin asks his mother for a piece of string so he can make a candle out of his ear wax and when his mother shows disgust he suggests making a set of ear wax crayons instead lol.

    ear wax doesn't just come off when there's ear wax excess, they usually give you some drops to disolve it
