I would not say the oppression of women is real unless you are talking about third world countries, and I would believe that thinking so is the ignorant path. I'm open to discussion on the matter, however.
Also, I would consider distancing yourself from feminism. I won't force you to take on any labels, that's your choice, but feminism in itself has recieved a negative stigma for a reason. However, if you do hold on to feminist beliefs, then stand by the title that explains your beliefs, because having the beliefs of something but claiming another title is not enough to fool people.
Is it normal to have this issue with Feminism?
