Is it normal to have this feeling of not belonging anywhere?

I don't have a chaotic relationship with my family or any of my friends, but I just don't feel like I have strong bonds with them. With all honesty, I just feel like I could start my life anywhere else right now and regret nothing.

Whenever I talk about other people about studying or working abroad, they instantly get all nervous, saying that they could never do that and that even I will eventually want to come back. They usually say that they can't imagine being away from their families, friends or their culture... and well... I just don't get that at all... I don't understand.

I just don't feel like I belong, I never feel truly at home at my house... I don't feel comfortable with family... I don't know... does anyone think like this as well?

It might be time for you to travel, and to gain new experiences and insights in the greater world.

Yes, fairly normal. I love my family and friends but the thought of how big and unexplored (to me) the world is, definitely makes me consider leaving everything and taking off just by myself. If you have the advantage that you have nothing holding you back go for it! Travel, meet people, make the most of life.

Same. I feel like I could pick up, and start all over somewhere else, and not regret it.
