Is it normal to have this dream of death?

Not long ago, a few weeks perhaps, i had a dream, i dreamt i was a hostage being held with a pistol pointed at the side of me head, i was standing in front of a window, because the hostage taker wanted people to know he was serious, i knew i was going to die and was ready for it, i felt peaceful and calm about dying, the hostage taker pulled the trigger, the bullet entered me brain, and i died. I dreamt about knowing the bullet stayed in me brain and didnt come out the other side, maybe i was dreaming i was in the afterlife then

is it normal to dream this, could it be a vision of a past life/a vision of how i will die in the future?
