I would suggest doing dream analysis but peeps don't even know why we dream in the first place so trying to find meaning in them will probs be a fruitless venture. But yeah, these dreams happen to a lot of people. These kinds of nightmares are actually one of the most common among people across a variety of differing cultures. If they're recurring the best thing you can do is just not think about them because then you're less likely to manifest the fear in uncontrolled dreams if you just forget about them.
Also, these are usually the kinds of nightmares i have when i have bad dreams. One time I actually succeeded in screaming and moving in my dream but my friend who was sleeping over that night freaked out cause apparently i screamed and kicked in real life too :D lol So I think that you can't scream or fight in these dreams because your body is asleep and your brain is trying to activate it but can't. It's not sleep paralysis but its actually why we get sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis would be if you awoke from the dream before the rest of your body, but the reason you can't do anything drastic in your dream is just a signal that you're asleep because your brain releases a chemical that relaxes your body so you don't sleepwalk and talk in our sleep. Here's a Dnews video that mentions this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wx4B03UJ1U

That is the best explaination I have gotten so far. Thank you! I guess I'll try lucid dreaming to see if it helps.
