Sure it's fine.

If you're going to use it all before it expires or goes off, then sure.

However, it is possible to freeze milk and it's muchly preferable to do this rather than wait for it to go off, throw it away and go and buy some more. Freezing milk reduces your milk "footprint", meaning less milk has to be produced, meaning fewer cows, meaning less methane, meaning fewer greenhouse gases, meaning less climate change.

In short, freezing milk = saving the world!
