Is it normal to have such an imagination?

Is it normal to have such an imagination? Ever since I was a little girl I've been ablt to keep myself busy with little sticks or shells at the beach. I would imagine that they were real, as if I were playing with polly pockets or barbies. I don't do that any more but ever since I was int hird grade, a series of stories began to form in my head. I wrote my first story in the third grade and I've been writing ever since. I'm pretty sure that that story was no good and even now I'm pretty sure that I'm not the best writer. I love to write and I have created about fifteen or more stories un my head and when I go to write them down they sound like crap. But I love writing and I would hate to give it up. So tell me, please, is this normal?

I myself strive to be a writer and have the same problem. I think about it, it sounds good, but as soon as I put it on paper, my thoughts change. But do not give up, I'm not. Practice makes perfect hey? Good luck!

Hey, I got the biggest imagination there is; believe me, if each of you were to probe into my mind, my thoughts would just blow all of your own craziest thoughts and away and put them to shame!

Yep. I was the exact same way, but lately I've found that my imagination has kind of deserted me. I really wish it hadn't.

Just never stop imagining things. Keep writing. You WILL get better at it, with practice.
