Is it normal to have such a weird bed time habit?

some nights I'll be lying in bed and suddenly I will think of something really bad happening. I get really upset and then start to run through the events I think would take place after this bad thing, in my head. Sometimes I start crying and talk to myself, as if I'm someone else. The weird thing is It makes me feel better doing this at night. Even though I go to sleep with tears running down my face and very upset. I don't understand why I do it but does anyone else do this??

Is It Normal?

  • I do this! Sometimes the idea of a loved one dying come into my mind before I go to sleep, and I'll cry and think the whole thing through, from finding out to the funeral. I hate that.

  • Sounds like stress from trying to control every event that happens. Go with the flow. No one is perfect.

  • Somethings wrong here dood. I agree it may be the onset of depression, but it sounds to me more like an anxiety attack brought on by you're bedtime routine itself.

  • Be thankful, I can't sleep well without running my body down to the point of "I can't make it up the stairs god dammit!"

  • Stop worrying so much about things. Don't worry, be happy.

  • Umm, no, that's not normal. You should really talk to someone about that, could be the early stages of depression
