Is it normal to have some satisfaction from killing bugs?

In the past, I used to be very afraid of bugs (would run away or call for help). Only recently have I began to fight back, just looking at them would cause this sudden burst of anger to get rid of them (not usually an angry person).

Is it okay if some satisfication is derived from killing them? Also, I don't purposely play with them, I do try to end it as quickly as possible.

    I like killing mosquitos. They're very annoying bugs.

      OMG! When I was staying with my cousins in Texas they had this electric tennis racket shaped thing that would electrocute flying insects, it was awesome!

        Wish I had one of those. My boyfriend's house is really close to the water so they get a LOT of mosquitos. I go to my car and like ten fly right in. I'm glad bug repellent is a thing.

          electric tennis rackets are great

          theyre 10 bucks at the dollar store or home depot

    I've killed vasps with my bare hands, son.
    It is not only a right to kill these critters, but it is your responsibility.

    I despise the noise of crickets. If they are far enough away, I cut them slack. If they are too close, I will hunt them down with stealth. If you make too much noise when you approach them, they stop the noise. Once I get right up to where they are hiding, I take my trusty can of Raid Wasp and Hornet spray and blast it into the crack that the cricket hides. Instantly, the noise stops, and sometimes I'll see them scurrying to get out. That's when my left foot makes sure that it's a done deal. I'm the cricket terminator!
