Is it normal to have slight balimia

Im not dumb. Balimia is a problem. Im also not super overwieght. I weigh about 120. But im also sort of short and carry any extra wieght in my stomach. I REALLY WANT A FLAT STOMACH. I have been on a diet since i was 12 and im now 18. Sometimes (about twice a week) i make my self throwup but not after eating ALOT just after eating normal. I only do it a couple times a week because im too scared of being caught. If i lived by myself i know i would do it all the time. Is this normal?

  • Sometimes its not just the amount you eat or exercise. I mean, exercise is very important and helpful, but also consider other things. Don't eat before sleeping, don't just sit there after eating, don't eat fatty foods, etc.

    • Cutting back on sugar is actually more effective than cutting back on fat. Foods high in fat are obviously not great, but cutting out sugar and eating a moderate amount of fat is good. It is way better than just worrying about fat and ignoring sugars and other carbs.

  • Bulima is bulima. See a doctor.
    Apart from the fact it is deadly it can ruin your teeth and make your hair fall out. If you are worried about how you look, how will you feel with rotton orange teeth from all the stomach acid and thinning hair from lack of nutrients?

  • We've had a lot of anorexia IINs recently, at least 5 or 6. It may be the same person every time just trying to wind us all up.

  • Please dint make yourself throw up! There are healthier ways if getting a flat stomach like running. Get some help please! Oh and it's spelled bulimia not balimia.

  • It sounds like you stress a lot. Stress is also part of the problem , it slows your metabolism. Also journal. Dig deep and ask yourself WHY do I want this so bad as to make myself throw up. You need to love yourself. You might want counseling for self esteem. It helps in lots if areas of your life.

  • Not normal, but at least you know there is a problem. Work out. If you just diet then ur body adjusts and you go nowhere.
