It happens once every few months, I would say. Sometimes I'll go a year or two without it happening. I take medication to sleep, though, so I don't know if that's part of it.
I take Trazodone (switched off of Ambien) at night...BUT it happened before when I wasn't on anything. I was sick with the flu, though...that's the first time I got it.
Is it normal to have sleep paralysis episodes continuously?

Did yours ever go away? I haven't had it since that night, so I'm kind of glad about that. I just don't want it to start up like it did.
