Actually, it's quite common. Almost all fetishes begin in early childhood, before a child's sexuality is fully developed. I won't go into all the Freudian stuff.
I have a smoking fetish. I remember watching women smoke since I was 3. I started masturbating when I was about 7, which is normal, and it was only then that I realized that my fascination was sexual.
