My ex girlfriend and I have been broken up for about 4 years now. I broke up with her because I found out that she was cheating on me with one of my close male friends. Her best friend, who is a female, told me last year that she always found me sexually attractive and ever since then we been secretly having sex and me and her best friend's friendship is unaffected by the sex. And we even hang out with my ex girlfriend regularly.

Is It Normal?

      I kept it a secret because just imagine how awkward it would be if I said "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you that I'm sleeping with your best friend." But then again it would be funny to tell her that, she would be so pissed.

    She's not that great of a friend for going behind her friends back like that but you've done nothing wrong. She cheated on you. You have no moral obligations to her.

      Yeah you're right, she's not a true friend to my ex and I never felt wrong for doing it. Its not like we're dating anymore, so it doesn't matter.

    Four years ago is a lifetime. She didn't give a shit about your feelings THEN so why are you even thinking about hers NOW? The only reason for keeping it quiet is out of respect for her 'best friend' for whatever (misguided) reason. If she doesn't mind the ex knowing - and what biz does a cheating ex have trying to dictate morals to either of you - then declare your new relationship loudly and proudly from the rooftops. Fuck what the ex skank thinks about it.
