Yes, I have it too. I have chronic pain because of it. One thing you do NOT want to do is take opiate pain meds on a chronic basis to treat the pain. Your body will just need more and more, stronger and stronger meds as your body adjusts to them. This is what happened to me and before I knew it I was on a lot of seriously strong and heavy drugs to kill pain...but they caused a whole other world of problems. Let me tell you, withdrawal hurts a whole lot worse (I just quit taking everything cold turkey because I was lost in a fog of drugs--although I was finally out of pain). Now I control my pain through a combo of daily Subutex (still an opiate pain med but it doesn't work like traditional pain meds), prednisone, advil, and colchicine. Good luck to you, it's a long journey.
