Caucasian/white, around their 40's, and they told me they are Lutheran Christian. However I am an atheist (I'm not sure they know that, I hope they don't care) and they actually aren't very religious at all from what I can tell, they've never taken me to a church other than for their wedding and I appreciate that and I also appreciate that somewhere during my pre-teen years they said I was allowed to follow any religion I wanted (Hope they don't mind lack of one).
Is it normal to have parents that believe these things?
