Is it normal to have old fashion dreams

I have had dreams like that. I also had a "dream" where my spouse was at work and I was at home. I had been cleaning and I started to cook lunch because I knew that my spouse would be home soon. Somewhere, down the line I became under the impression that I was a housewife in the 50's. My spouse came home not long after that and I was telling "her" about the food and how I had almost forgotten that I needed to pick the kids up from school. My spouse looked me in the eye and bewildering told me that we didn't have kids...
