Is it normal to have my period every other month?

Ever since I started, my period always occured every other month. For most of my friends and family, it is every month. I am an extremely petite girl (ht: 5'2" and wt: 92) and I hope it's not that :P . Is something wrong with me?

    Huh. I'm actually the same height and weight, but I have it every month. You're really lucky, to be honest.

    It might be that youre too thin, gain about 10-15 lbs...it could make a difference.

    You should definitely talk to your doc but if you are young it is pretty normal. I'm around the same weight and have the same issue. Your body needs a certain amount of fat in order to have a regular cycle.

    Your period's most likely still trying to regulate itself.
