This is historically accurate, but sometimes history needs to stay history. The present definition is accurate to the word today, so technically an argument could be made for both sides
That's most likely sex reassignment surgery, and it's so trans* people will feel less at odds with their bodies. If it is gender reassignment surgery, then gender might be a reference to it being the final step to their true gender.
Just fucking shoot me, all this damn double speak is nuts. Its no wonder kids don't know if they are a boy or a girl. Glad I just finished high school and won't have to dealnwith this crap any more.
I am saying that many people, as you can see by the posts in this thread, define gender as synonymous with ones sex.
Genderfluid isn't a word. You mean the term gender fuild and thats where the problems come in because many use the original definition of gender, myself included and based on that, you cannot be fluid sexually(reproductively).
If you believe that, I can't stop you, but you have been polite about this little debate. It's always interesting to talk to people who have different viewpoints. I still, however, do not agree, but, it is the orginal author's choices of who to believe.
I'm just being honest. I'm not stirring up whatsoever shit you're saying. Why being so negative? My question is true, and is about myself. I only went to this site just for that because I had thought it would at least help me. At least, without getting my life screwed in public.
Is it normal to have multiple genders?

To make my point I'll ask again. What is a gender reassignment surgery if gender is a social role?

If you want a word to describe "feeling" like a boy one day and a girl the next make up a new word.
But liberals don't do that because they like to cause confusion and discord within the population.

The original poster was just stirring up shit. I'm basing that off the subsequent post:
"Trump supporters? XD This made me laugh XD"
But I enjoy trying to discuss these topics even if it is an exercise in futility, at least some readers will know that they aren't alone.
