I know how you feel...
I lost all my hair when I was 3 years old (I'm a girl), so it's been almost 16 years. I am not comfortable with myself without hair, never have been, probably never will be. A hair transplant is super expensive i know, but that seems to be the only option for me to get it back, otherwise i don't think it's possible in my case. So I will just have to keep wearing wigs on a daily basis. I started wearing wigs when I was 10 so before that I didn't have a single one. Most people thought I was a boy when I was little, didn't make me feel better. Though it didn't bother me that much when I was a kid, but now I would do ANYTHING to get my hair back, even though I don't remember what it was like when I still had it.
And that you don't get as many compliments anymore, I don't know why but most girls/women like guys with nice hair. But the inside is important too, if you are a nice guy you'll find a girl who loves you for you anyway :) (some girl would probably fall for you even if you're not a nice guy ^^)
