Is it normal to have like no friendsss?!

seriously i really dont have any i mean i have my mom, and my sisters who i talk to, and family on facebook which i hardly ever go on but not much else. i mean i'm volunteering at the school i used to go to and maybe i can consider some of the teachers there my friends, or the ones i really like i dont really see anymore but other than that, nada :/ its depressing and i know i should go out and get some but i guess i'm anti social at the same time, and no one seems to like me anyway

I think its normal to have little or no friends. Although it doesn't feel very good in my opinion. I have never been good at making friends. In fact I would say I have very few. It isn't because I don't want friends I just can't handle the drama all the time. I guess in that way I lack something.

I have.. one friend. and i don't really talk to her much lately. I don't think it's weird though. My sister is my best friend and i have my boyfriend and our daughter. But even before then no friends. People I'd get drug to hang with and associates at school. It's weird sometimes, but i'm too shy to form longterm friendships with people

The easiest way to make friends is to discover in yourself the things in life that excite and interest you, and then find others who share you interests. It really is that simple. You think everyone who goes out for extracurricular activities at school is doing it because they want to do it alone? No, they want to SHARE the experience with like-minded individuals and most of the time, this is how people become friends.

Normal! The more people I meet the more I love my cat !

Many people are gossips and takers and when you really need them they disappear but when they need you they won't leave you alone. Real friendship is rare.

Also, I have met people on Facebook who live in the same city as me and they are now my real life friends. I am living with one of them currently, have been for 6 months, they are one of my best friends. Don't give up!

I went a very long period with any real friends and the 'friends' I did have, treated me like crap and I didn't even like being around them. So I isolated myself all together.
But now, 3 years later, I have a large group of friends, all who I am very close to, people who txt me every day and call me last minute inviting me out because they miss me =)

Give it time, you will find a friend eventually.
I think I started making friends when I stopped trying so hard. Just be yourself =)

It's better to have a few really good friends than a bunch of acquaintances, or "so-called" friends. Find people that actually have a personality, those that can and will be there for you no matter what, those that won't screw you over. It takes a while to find people like that, but once you do, they are friends for life.

it's ok. it doesn't matter as long as you have people who are there for you.

If you spend too much time at home and on facebook then how on earth are you gonna make friends in real life?
