Is it normal to have heart aches.

I have a boyfriend in the states and I'm all the way in japan because I'm a military child and we got stationed here. I really love him and sometimes when I go to school I have this awful heart ache like someone died and it really hurts. I sometimes have to go to the bathroom and calm down until I can focus again. This has never happened to me he is the first person who made me feel his way. Is it normal?

    i have those kinds of heartaches too but i only get them when i talk about something sensative with my first boyfriend, he gets the heartache at the same time, i want to say its some kind of special connection we have. maybe you and your boyfriend have the same kind of connection :)
