Tsk! Just because we've heard of it doesn't make it normal. This probably should have been a poll with yes/no answers.
If there's an overwhelming statistic of "yes," a sample size like that would indeed suggest normalcy.
As long as people understand they're not being asked whether it's normal but whether it's normal that they have heard of it. I know the question is clear but I think what I suggested would have been clearer still.
Is it normal to have heard of the word/act of "Mung?"
