    I gave up on a friend a few years ago. I wasn't as involved as you are because I knew that nothing I did would make a difference. I started to distance myself from her more and more and eventually just stayed away. She would call once in a while asking for money to pay off some warrant...ya ok bitch. I never gave her money or took her to dealers but I always made sure to ask how the kids were and in whose custody they were currently in...

    Your friend doesn't want help unless your help is in the form of drugs or money for drugs. Possibly a week old half eaten cheeseburger and a toothless blow job but only if those things are accompanied by drugs.
