That is completely and totally normal. And take it from a very experienced guy in those kind of situations, the girl you actually get to see is far more valuable than a long distance relationship that you don't get to see. Being able to talk and hang out in person is a big deal and will nurture a much better relationship than internet and phone. As for them not wanting to tell their parents about you, whichever one you pick have a talk with them about it and find out why, they might just be shy.
