Sounds to me like standards are good in your case. Learn form this. If you don't have standards you're just going to end up with another girl who wants to break you. I think nearly everyone can say they've dated a real loser. That loser was put there in your life so that you know what a looser looks like and you can steer clear next time. I know you think you love her etc.. but you now have the chance to find yourself a much better girl than her
