It's NOT just fat. I had the same thing and learned they're actually 'fatty tumors'. I had both of mine removed. It was a quick surgery; I was in and out of the hospital within 3 hours for each side. It took about a month to heal and have the staples removed. It's strange to see normal armpits after all those years but it's worth it. If you have insurance I definitely suggest having the little bits removed. The 'tumors' are usually benign so no worries!
