i find it bizarre and boring if a person acts the same way around everyone because this probably means that they don't really do things that their parents or total strangers might find unacceptable. if i acted the same way i do around my friends around a complete stranger they would probably think i was the most bizarre person. i don't think this is being fake at all since you're just adapting to each situation and trying to find common ground with each different person. you're not going to talk about the same things or do the same things you would do with your parents with your best friend and you're not going to be the same person around your significant other as you would be around a total stranger or a teacher. i think that this is just knowing your boundaries and how to act properly around each person in order to make them feel comfortable and not intimidated or weirded out.
Is it normal to have different personalities around different people?
