6 days before my period comes, my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time. we used protection of course but my period is now delayed for 3 weeks. what could be the reason for this?

    It's possible for stress to cause a missed period. So try to relax. Take a pregnancy test or go see a doctor just to be sure you're not pregnant.

    I'm not sure if it's normal or not. We're all different- for a while, my period was two months long every seven months (which makes sense proportionally).

    Have you taken a pregnancy test? Is that what you're worried about?
