If your skin is naturally dark then its normal, we just had the same discussion at my friends house earlier, my neice is half brazillian and has dark skin, her mom asked the doctor what it was when she was a baby and the reply she got was that its normal it to do with skin pigmantation (however its spelt) in darker skinned people oh and her bruise like marks are in the same place as yours.....
