I don't think that's normal. It seems like a waste of time to me, and I don't understand the point of it. Why don't you just think to yourself? Or if you want to socialise, then surely you should talk to other people, rather than yourself. Why do you have conversations with yourself?
I dunno, sometimes I orchestrate conversations with myself (usually in my thoughts, sometimes on paper) and it can be useful. In the same way that brainstorming can help even if a lot of the shit you think of is odd, spur of the moment kinds of things, just putting the ideas in a written format like that, especially giving it a back and forth to perhaps balance different or contradicting ideas, can help a person sort out for oneself what it is they truly think.
Haha you're probably right. I just have a lot of thoughts sometimes and it helps me sort them out a little bit and come to the right conclusions. Mostly I'm just a weirdo though
Is it normal to have conversations with yourself on IIN?
