    • I did not know that. I just thought the hens clucked. But when I finally saw the animal, I knew it was a rooster. I love roosters! But thanks, now I know :)

    • I had pet chickens for almost twenty years, none of them cock-a-doodle-doo except the roosters. The hens just make puck-wok and cooing noises.
