Is it normal to have blood in pee?

So today I just got back from going on vacation to Hawaii. I know its not normal to pee blood and today is the second day I have noticed it. It wasnt as bad yesterday. I did wear my swimsuit a bit longer than I probably should have after I was done hanging out at the beach. I'm pretty sure its not a urinary tract infection. Can anyone help explain whats going on? (P.S. the blood today was about the size of a quarter. Maybe a bit bigger. PLEASE HELP)

    see a doctor if u have blood in ur pee.if ur a girl mabe it is a piroid.sorry for my spelling xD

    go to a doc and i doubt its a uti ive had them really bad and i never had blood. My boyfriend had blood in his pee once they treated him for chlmydia and it went away but then i got tested twice but never had it so were still confused as to why but the strong antibiotic worked for whatever it was

    I would seriously recomend you see a doctor. I had a relative who died because he didn't care about having blood in his pee.

    As I don't want that to happen to anyone else, head to a doctor.

    Umm I don't know what the cause might be but sounds pretty bad go to the doctor did you cut something inside you? Uhm..Does it hurt? if so you need to go get checked asap.. something may be wrong

    I had blood in my pee when I was 12, went to the doc said my kidney was swolen 3 times the size of the other one. Very serious issue and have been having serguries, procedures and tests ever since(I'm 22 now) if I didn't get it looks at, my kidney would have ruptured which prolly would have killed me. True story, go to the doctor

    the only time i've had blood in my pee is when i had a UTI. it's not normal and can be dangerous if not deadly if left untreated. your kidneys can actually shut down if you let it go. i really suggest getting to an ER as soon as possible.

    The news is all bad, forget the doctors they know crap, get back out there on the drink, drugs & hookers cause u ain't got long to live. Don't waste the time u have left waiting around for a doc to tell u what u already know. Hock the house & spend it up while u have some time left, go down
