Is it normal to have an overlapping toe?

Im posting this as i wanted to know if any others have the same problem.

I was born with a overlappig fith toe which causes me difficulty when wearing high heels for long perids of time.
All i know is that its most common in females and can be sorted with a metal plate inserted into the toe to strighten it out.

Has anyone else got this overlapping problem?

Any advice?

I think everyone has at least some strange toes. It's actually almost be abnormal to have perfect feet. I have 2 strange toes on each foot that kinda lean towards each other. To keep them from rubbing and tearing the skin, I use silicon band aids to separate them, trim the toenails to a minimum and generally avoid tight shoes. There are also special cushions and toe separators for this purpose. I don't think surgery is worth it.

I was also born with an overlapping pinky toe. Mine is on my left foot. My right little toe is normal. I had surgery on mine about five years ago but the surgery was a complete waste of time, didn't change a thing. I told myself that if the surgery was not successful that I wasn't going to hide it anymore! Mine overlaps so far that the tip of my little toe actually touches my third toe!

haha i do. my right pinky toe. its my mutation and my bf thinks its cute. i do have to try on shoes and walk around for a bit to see if the fit is right. try a half size bigger on your funky toe foot to see if the fit is better. other than that i hveperfect toe size and feet. just the one funky pinky toe. my mom used to joke about cutting it off when i was a kid. its my mutation, everyone has one
