It isn't a problem to be afraid of men... although being afraid of men that beat you up is nothing to worry about either. You feel intimidated when around larger men and you can't stop yourself from shaking when your not around familiarity in people. I wouldn't say it is a majorly normal thing to actually avoid dating larger men because of it, every women i think is scared of larger men bar those who have taken up some form of martial arts, and even then they aren't completely unafraid of men. Just don't think about it spend some time with your mates around larger males get to know a couple perhaps maybe spend some time wheres theres only 3 of you so you get used to being around a larger person with a person of similar heights to you. Intimidation is something to be tackled as you can actually find a fair amount of large aswell as smaller men are quite nice friendly and would not wish to harm a female. I mean im around 6ft in total rather quite bulky large chested with a nice set of muscles, but i couldn't think about harming another male, let alone harming a defenceless female put it to one side and dont think about it much chuck go out and firnd some nice guys who may or may not be large :) enjoy yourself :)
