Is it normal to have an insatiable desire to kill small animals?

Most serial killers start out with cruelty to animals. If your vaulting ambition is to murder, perhaps you should seek treatment and save a lot of people a lot of heartbreak.

I'm a girl and I have those urges all the time. I have done some pretty bad things, and people were worried I might become a serial killer, because that's how it starts, so I started going to a psychiatrist. I suggest you do the same. At first I really did not want to go at all, but I was forced, and I have to admit, they did help me a lot and I'm a lot better now. Best of luck.

I love animals, but when im stressed i just cant stand my dogs and ive had to retain myself from kicking them :( i dont want to hurt them, and i know that its mostly stress that causes these urges but that also happens to me in really hot days

I watched a video on YouTube of someone's pet hamster and I got an urge to kill it. I mean I should think "Awwww that's so cute" but instead I was thinking "I want to squeeze the life out the little shit". I thought it was a passing feeling so I ignored it but when I was looking at a photo on Flickr of someone's (a different person ) pet hamster and I felt an urge to kill that one aswell. I don't feel that way about mice only hamsters. I really worry myself sometimes.

Yeah, i get that urge sometimes but i just don't do it.

P.S. If you want to kill something with your bare hands, you can't use a knife. That would kind of defeat the meaning of "bare hands".
