Ur not alone! Literally! I'm from Chicago also, although I live in the suburbs. I would definitely recommend at least movin out here. But with ur passion and connection with nature, I would suggest another state....I've heard Vermont is gorgeous! I'm thinking about moving to North Carolina eventually. There are way less people and a lot more of nature! I understand how u feel tortured. Living in the eart of Chicago is literally one of my worst nightmares. It smells of garbage and gas everywhere! There are cars and bikes running you over. No one is friendly, everyone just wants to get somewhere fast. I hate it. I fully understand ur anxt.
