CPS, in my state, has recently implemented a new procedure for handling complaints. In the past, when they would receive a complaint, they would automatically launch an investigation. Now, they initiate an assessment following a complaint rather than immediately investigating. If they determine from their assessment that an investigation is necessary, the process begins. You need to speak with CPS about your ex making frivolous claims against you. Not only can YOU take legal action against him, but the state can as well.
