    Thanks for your comment and relating but I think a first date that went no further has a good reason to be awkward. What I'm referring to between 2 people has no reason at all.

      Why don't you just try to be this persons friend? It cant hurt can it? Unless you know they are psychotic or something?

        I have tried in the past, for some reason it just doesn't work, conversation is slow and debilitating.
