Is it normal to have a strained relationship with little brother?

My brother is seven years my junior. I find that we do not have very much in common and at least on my end I have no real strong feelings of familial nature towards him.

Is It Normal?

    It shouldn't matter how far apart in age y'all are, and yall dont really need to have anything in common actually, but that's ur brother and he will be there for u when no one else is, believe it or not..

    I know how you feel. My brother is 3 years and 5 months younger than me, and we used to be really close but ever since he hit puberty, it's like I don't even know him anymore. Our personal beliefs and interests used to be similar but now they are so different that to be honest, if he wasn't my brother, I wouldn't want to be friends with him anymore.

    having a brother or sister is meant to be a strong relationship! Because you two are close, I mean this is "brother" and "sister" term we are talking about!

    You seem to care more about your friends than someone who is close to you.
