I have a speech impediment so articulating large words is a bitch to do in normal conversation. When I write I have no such restrictions. Many times in my life my language art teachers were extremely surprised (to the point where some thought I plagiarized) that I could be so "advanced" in how I write.
My brain out paces my mouth so I need to take a few seconds to properly plan out my sentences, it is such a drag to do it.
Is it normal to have a situationally large vocabulary?
